Position: Video Producer
Location: San Francisco and LA

*Travel 1 to 2 trips monthly for 3 to 4 days at a time will be required between San Francisco and LA.
 
Our client, a leader in the retail industry  who has an unrivaled selection of beauty products from both classic and emerging brands, is looking for a long-term contract Video Producer!  You will be responsible for supporting their day-to-day video projects from concept to execution and partnering with world-class clients to help their creative vision come to life!
 
RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ability to support the Senior Content Producer, Video with all video projects (scoping, bidding, awarding, casting, pre-production, shooting, editorial etc.)
• Day to day support and coordination of multiple ongoing video programs
• Work closey with LA studio and Producers for ongoing video programs
• Maintain database and archive of footage
• Manages the coordination of talent holdings and bookings.
• Support review timeline for getting proper sign off among all cross-functional partners.
• Partner with video marketing, digital creative, and program management to ensure all comps/products are
ready for video shoots.
• Record and implement notes from creative and marketing meetings, reviews, and kick offs.
• Management of projects through tools such as Basecamp, Smartsheets, Box, Wipster
• Schedule & manage front end and back end review meetings (attend KO’s, storyboard reviews, video reviews, model casting meetings, etc.)
 
REQUIREMENTS:
 
• 3+ years of Video Production or Program Management experience
• Previous agency or production studio/house experience
• Retail/ecommerce industry experience
• Previous experience in beauty, lifestyle, or fashion 
• Strong experience managing production end to end in an external client facing capacity
• Strong understanding of production process
• Available to travel to LA for shoots 1 to 2 times monthly.

You will be responsible for shooting, editing, and animating video for their social media channels such as: https://visualcountry.com 
 
Responsibilities: 
  • Shoot, edit, and animate footage for social media channels with a strong focus on Instagram, Snapchat, and Facebook channels
  • Create video content deliverables such as: product promos, recipes, travel/event highlights, lifestyle profiles, interviews, demos, explainers, IG story clips
  • Create animations such as: titles, kinetic type, infographics, explainers, stop motion, animated gifs

As the Production Studio Director, you will lead a team of internal and external production staff. You will manage all aspects of running an always on production studio, budgeting and cost management, while promoting partnership with cross functional partners.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years’ of production experience in a management role.

  • Previous agency experience

  • Previous production house experience

  • Experience directly managing a large production team.

  • Strong project management skills and knowledge of: Basecamp, Workfront, Wipster, Wiredrive, Smart Sheet, ProofHQ tools.
