Position Summary

 

  • Supports the Creative Production Operations Director and Senior Web Retoucher with assignment, resource allocation, and project tracking for web retouching department across both internal and external retouching teams.
  • Is responsible, with the senior web retoucher, for delivering all expected files by the project deadline.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • You will be working on the product used by millions of Android and iOS users assisting on with their technical issues (for example; your product will assist it’s users on how to set up and connect their mobile devices to their smart homes and other IOT gadgets.
  • You will be leading the product design on a team and will be responsible for all aspects of the project as well as the end to end user experience.
  • You will also be responsible for metrics relating to how our customers interact with the product and constantly improving their experience
  • You’ve created innovative new web and mobile experiences and have been searching for another opportunity to own the entire design
  • You will be working closely with engineers, product managers and other designers.
  • You will take initiative and really own the product, always identifying problems and opportunities to improve our product offering.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years designing for multiple platforms experience, with 3+ years as a senior designer or equivalent practical experience preferred
  • Prior experience designing for a consumer-facing product is required
  • Portfolio of sample projects highlighting design for web and mobile based applications.
  • A deep understanding of the end-to-end product design process, including how to develop and use IA, journey mapping, prototyping, user stories, user testing, UI design and wireframing

RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Ability to analyze industry trends and competition to contribute towards product strategy for their Campaign and Lifecycle Management.
  • Ability to translate Product Strategy into an executable roadmap
  • Ability to collaborate with customers, stakeholders, design and consumer research to build a scalable and intuitive workflow for campaign and life cycle management.

Our client, an educational technology company, is looking for a Senior UI Designer to add to their team!
 

Responsibilities:

 • Work on user interface design elements for their web learning platform (ie: icons, graphics, design elements for pages, layouts, navigation controls)

• Work across multiple platforms, responsive applications, and a variety of screen sizes, from rough sketches to highly polished, production ready mock - ups

 • Collaborate with Product Managers and Product Designers to create innovative, clean, visually consistent with brand designs, using a variety of creative styles and techniques

• Produce engineer-ready style guides on all approved mockups

• Mentor junior members of the UI Design team

• Provide artistic direction and feedback on various design projects

Requirements: 

  • 5 plus years of experience

  • Proven experience mentoring or managing other UI designers

  • Previous experience creating web and mobile platform layouts, navigation buttons, icons, graphic elements, animations, etc. 

  • Expert-level knowledge of Illustrator, Photoshop and at least one animation software

  • Ability to create clean, clutter-free, brand-consistent design
